I am an artist and crafter who specializes is paintings of medieval and gothic themes, the natural world, and expressions of queer identity. I paint but also sew handicrafts such as tote bags and produce stickers, bookmarks, etc with my artwork along with prints.
Alva's Apothecary strives to provide high quality handmade crystal and intention products infused with reiki energy. We also offer a selection of high quality gemstones.

Dragonflies & Lavender is a small, woman owned business. The artist, Carlee, is a current undergraduate student at Chatham University, studying international business and graphic design, looking forward to graduate in May 2023. To channel her inner artist and put her studies into practice, Carlee has created Dragonflies & Lavender to share her creations with the world. Carlee focuses her work on one main medium: digital illustration. The digital illustration work is created using adobe illustration on a macbook. Using the computer mouse and online tools to build and create everything. All digital work is made available to purchase through 8x10 in and 5x10 in prints, vinyl stickers, and more.

I make diorama-like miniatures of both every day scenes like garden sheds, cafes, bookstores but also the stranger, more curious things in life like Victorian haunted houses, 80’s basements perfect for watching horror movies in (think of your parent’s den in late 80’s), funeral homes, witch shops, and the like. Everything I make is unique, never quite the same and I use make about 80% of the items within the miniatures and try to use as many up-cycled and recycled materials as possible. I also offer hand sculpted clay mushrooms set under small glass cloches with dried moss and wood that look incredibly real. I’m also offering a variety of small hand embroidered hoops with a variety of images from the curious to the lgbtqia+ supportive, being queer myself and also offer a small selection of handmade jewelry. I make sure I have a selection of curiosities for everyone in all price ranges.

They have a shop in Lawrenceville, located at 4316 Penn Avenue, where they carry quality handmade goods from 40+ local artists, as well as teach classes and have events, such as our Queer Craft Social.
